Dedicated Staff and Teachers
Rose Tree Day School provides our families with teachers who have chosen teaching as their profession. Our lead teachers have Bachelor’s degrees or higher in education and assistant teachers, Associate’s degrees or higher in education. All teachers have specific credits in Early Childhood Education.
Our teachers are committed to ongoing professional development and continue their education through participating in professional affiliations, attending annual conferences, PQAS certified trainings, webinars and college and university based classes. Through participating in professional growth activities our teachers enhance their knowledge and continue to develop strategies to help our students grow and develop.
While maintaining low teacher/child ratios, lead and assistant teachers work together to provide a safe, caring and fun learning environment. Our teachers and administration work collectively to develop and provide a teacher created curriculum based on Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Standards and best practices in the Early Childhood Field. Our teachers work diligently to offer learning experiences that develop the whole child. Our low teacher/child ratios afford opportunities to meet the varied developmental levels of each child.
Rose Tree Day School has affiliations with local colleges and universities. Through internships, student teaching and observation opportunities our teachers work closely with pre-service teachers mentoring and facilitating their learning experiences. Our teachers and program benefit from this partnership.
We are fortunate to participate in Delaware County’s Foster Grandparent outreach program. Our affiliation with COSA provides multigenerational experiences for the staff, families and especially the relationship between our foster grandparents and children.

Biography
Andrea Sampson has been working in Early Childhood Education for more than twenty seven years. Ms. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Neumann and a Master’s of Education Degree from Widener. Ms. Andrea believes that all children can grow, develop, and do their best in a positive, high-quality learning environment. Ms. Andrea also works as an adjunct professor at Delaware County Community College teaching courses in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Andrea enjoys singing and spending time with her family including her 2 young grandsons in her spare time.

Biography
Marianne Conway has been working in Early Childhood Education since graduating from Neumann College in I983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and a certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has been with Rose Tree Day School for nineteen years. Ms. Marianne is the Assistant Director and Kindergarten teacher. She strives to provide an atmosphere where children enjoy learning, become independent and develop at their own pace. Ms. Marianne enjoys being part of children’s growing and learning experiences as well as spending time at Phillies games, playing with her dogs, relaxing outdoors, especially at the beach and, all time spent with her husband and grown children.
